If you live in texas and youre in the market for a new car you need to check this out.
The program is designed to remove polluting vehicles from Texas roads. The government will take your 10+ year old vehicle in exchange for a $3,000 voucher towards the purchase of a new OR used vehicle (3 years old or newer). $3,500 for a hybrid.
There are income and vehicle registration restrictions listed in the terms in the above site.
The only participating counties are around Austin, Houston, and Dallas.
